  • Range Collective is a travel advisory and consulting studio focused on impact-driven travel. We work with nonprofits, foundations, and mission-driven brands — as well as a select number of private clients — to design thoughtful travel experiences that deepen engagement, build understanding, and create meaningful connection to place, people, and purpose.

  • We partner with nonprofits, foundations, universities, and purpose-led organizations or brands, as well as values-aligned private clients and small groups seeking intentional, experience-rich travel. Our work is especially well suited for organizations and individuals who care deeply about ethics, learning, and impact.

  • Range Collective sits at the intersection of travel, strategy, and impact. Rather than selling off-the-shelf trips, we focus on alignment; designing experiences that support organizational goals, donor engagement, or personal values. We bring deep experience in nonprofit partnerships, on-the-ground program work, and responsible travel, and often collaborate alongside operators rather than replacing them.

  • Yes. We work with organizations piloting their first trip as well as those scaling established travel programs, tailoring our role to your capacity and objectives.

  • We support donor and supporter travel, impact and learning journeys, board or leadership travel, alumni programs, and mission-focused site visits. Trips may be fully custom or designed as repeatable models.

  • Absolutely. We collaborate with internal staff, tour operators, and local partners, adding expertise and capacity without disrupting existing relationships.

  • Pricing depends on scope and may include commissions, planning fees, hourly consulting, or a hybrid approach. We believe dedicated fees and hourly rates are important to ensure each project receives the time, care, and strategic attention it deserves, particularly during early-stage design, advising, or pilot phases. We are transparent about pricing and work to align cost with value and organizational capacity.

  • Yes. We regularly support organizations in launching new travel initiatives or refining systems to create sustainable, scalable programs.

  • Yes. We also work alongside family offices and philanthropic advisors, supporting individuals and families who are interested in using travel as part of a broader learning, engagement, or philanthropic strategy.

  • Curious, culturally engaged travelers who care about how and why they travel, and who value learning, connection, and responsible practices.

  • We do both. We have years of experience designing and leading trips around the world, and maintain a portfolio of thoughtfully designed itineraries that organizations, families, or stakeholder groups may be able to join or adapt. These options can offer a lower upfront investment of time and cost, while still delivering a high-quality, mission-aligned experience. We also design fully custom itineraries when deeper customization or new geographies are needed.

  • Compensation may include supplier commissions, planning fees, or a combination of both, depending on scope and complexity. For trips with significant commissionable components, we may reduce or waive planning fees, while maintaining a cancellation fee to account for time invested in design and coordination. All terms are discussed upfront.

  • Responsible travel is central to our work. We prioritize respectful engagement, long-term local partnerships, and the use of environmentally and socially responsible vendors whenever possible. All Range Collective–designed trips reinvest in nonprofit or community-based work at destination, helping ensure travel dollars support the places and missions connected to the experience.

  • Yes. We collaborate with trusted local guides and organizations, building on long-standing relationships. All partners are carefully vetted, with safety, experience, and reliability as top priorities, alongside alignment with our values and approach to responsible travel.

  • Impact varies by context. For organizations, we can partner to help define, measure, and report on key indicators related to engagement, learning, or donor outcomes. For private clients, impact often shows up as deeper understanding, connection, and more intentional travel choices.

  • We begin with a conversation to understand your goals, then define a tailored scope of work and collaborate closely throughout the planning process. All engagements are guided by clear agreements outlining scope, fees, and terms, so expectations are aligned from the start.

  • We work globally, with experience across Latin America, Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America. Our work is often rooted in specific thematic areas, including environmental conservation, artisan and craft-based economies, and grassroots, community-led initiatives.

  • For nonprofit and group travel, 9–18 months is ideal. Private travel timelines vary, but earlier planning allows for more thoughtful design.
